New Classes and Locations!

In over 20 years of Teaching, Performing and Choreographing across Australia and Overseas, Christian Drogo has established himself as an eminent expert on authentic Latin Dance styles, most notably Tango and Salsa. From his fellow learned colleagues in the industry, devoted students and employers for International assignments Christian has gained enormous respect for his unique talent, creativity and professionalism. And so in 2010, Viva is expanding and joining forces with 2 fantastic Dance Studios to promote and introduce Argentine Tango classes and give you new locations for your convinience to learn from!

From Monday, 22nd February 2010, you will find Tango classes at all levels at "Melbourne Salsa Dance Studio"

Classes will be offered at the following times and standards:
7:00PM Tango Beginner Level 1
8:00PM Tango Beginner Level 2
9:00PM Tango Intermediate Level
Cost:
$17 x 1 Class or $27 x 2 Classes on same day
Location:
1/111 Brighton Rd, Elwood/St Kilda, corner of Milton Rd (above the Cable Car bottle shop).

From Thursday, 25th February 2010, you will find Tango Classes at all levels at "Hit The Floor Dance Studio"

Classes will be offered at the following times and standards:
7:00PM Tango Beginner Level 1
8:00PM Tango Beginner Level 2
9:00PM Tango Intermediate Level
Cost:
$15 x 1 Class or $20 x 2 Classes on same day
Location:
Level 1, 245 Glenferrie Rd, Malvern (Above the 7 Eleven. Enter via Stanhope St)

Styling for Men & Women Body movement is the foundation to all dance styles

Understanding your body and its movement is vital for the character of both the male and female dancer. We will explore the expression of the masculine and feminine components that highlight the flavour of this sexy dance form. This part of the workshop will focus on bringing out the essence of the dance, through body styling and control whilst understanding leading and following techniques. The focus for the girls will be sexy hips, elegant arms and hand styling! Our instructors will share her secrets that distinctly make her one of Melbourne's most elegantly smooth salsa dancers. Shines Learn how to play with music and take your salsa dancing to the next level! Incorporate solo footwork, syncopations, body movement and patterns to express yourself with freedom and individuality on the dance-floor. We'll give you the tools to improve your footwork, speed, coordination and sharpness to enhance your musical interpretation as a salsero / salsera. Turn Patterns A dynamic wrap up of funky turn patterns incorporating all the above concepts.
